Pastor, Reverend Leroy Roundtree & Mrs. Linda Roundtree
Pastor Leroy Roundtree was born in rural Aiken County. He is the seventh of ten children of the late James and Viola Roundtree of Jackson, S.C. He was baptized at the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. W. W. Doby.
Pastor Roundtree received his education in the Aiken County Public Schools System. He is a 1978 graduate of Jackson High School. Shortly after graduating, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy in May 1979.
In November 1999 after 20 years of dedicated service, Rev. Leroy Roundtree retired from the United States Navy as Chief Petty Officer. Serving in the U.S. Navy afforded him the opportunity to visit and live in many difference states and countries.
In April of 1996 he was ordained as a deacon at the St. Thomas Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Erin L Murray.
Reverend Leroy Roundtree moved to Texas and was licensed to preach the Gospel in May of 1998 at the St. John First Missionary Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas under the leadership of Dr. William L. Pullman.
In June 2001, he was ordained and installed as pastor of the St. James Missionary Baptist church in Brownsville, Texas where he served faithfully until April 2009.
After once again relocating, this time to Baltimore, Maryland, he became Assistant Pastor of the New Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church.
In July of 2016, Rev. Roundtree relocated to Jacksonville, Florida and was installed as pastor of The Lord's Church Ministry Jacksonville, Florida.
Rev. Roundtree now resides in Jacksonville, Florida with his lovely wife Linda and their 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
